Online services media environment it now. We discuss Twitter, Facebook etc. as we were discussing the TV. And we should think of people like Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and Apple as the Rupert Murdochs of the 21st century!
Across the world consumers have been using the tag # occupygooglereader. I know that the tags are funny but we need some sort of 'movement' that emphasize popular web open. Google Reader just an example of a general lesson.
The difference between Google Reader (web browsing through open RSS) and Google+ (silo). I was a fan of Google Reader, I do not like the changes but I'm not surprised. It's easyfare exciting in a way just how clueless big companies like Google can be. Will Google's weaknesses to boost people easyfare to develop other services? An obvious example at the moment. Why are we crying about the lack of support for the Welsh language by Amazon?!?!!? An opportunity to promote devices that work with open formats like ePub instead Kindle, brick DRM is an attempt monopoly Amazon! The Sony device easyfare reads ePub, for example. On freedom is better than Kindle but what's going on your Christmas list will matter to you. It is easy enough to start ePub shop, people. (Also ... someone should make a deal to import Barnes & Noble device that also works with ePub.)
Amazon is losing money with each Kindle Fire device. This fact should tell us something. The device easyfare is part of the plan. Revival Jeff Bezos will shop for unnecessary products all day. And it's annoying to see the free publicity Welsh Golwg360 because they are influential and Amazon following terms without questioning other options.
The e-book market in Welsh are very young and a LOT of possibilities. (To the people who think that Amazon management success in the Welsh language is inevitable ... What are the most popular soft drink in Scotland? Often it is not Coca Cola, the global giant, but IRN Bru, the local favorite, falling to number one in the sales chart.'s easyfare our opportunity now to find IRN Bru, not to our liking.)
Another point. In terms of terms I hate 'Google', 'Tweet' etc. as names. Please do not use Welsh translations of names of American companies easyfare like Facebook, Twitter, Google and Apple. It must remind ourselves who controls the distribution of our language. We can translate wiki, blog, stream, web and so on because they are not exposed to your company, your organization, thy free group or you as an individual.
